Your Responsibilities

You write clean, maintainable, testable, and understandable code
You drive unit and integrations testing within your project team
You enjoy developing Web applications – CMS or eCommerce
You passionately strive towards quality and great user-experience
You develop the technical concept with your project team and present it to our client
You work closely with the product owner and the client team on backlog topics, acceptance criteria, and user stories
You set development guidelines and best practices
You facilitate workshops for technical topics with your project team and/or the client team
You observe how we can improve our development processes by using innovative methods or new technologies

Your Skills

You have studied computer science or a comparable course of education
You have at least 3 years of experience in Java Web development
Frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are beneficial
You know how CMS and eCommerce systems work (experience with Adobe Experience Manager or SAP CX is an advantage)
You know when and how to apply Design Patterns and Separation of Concerns
You are experienced in writing Unit and Integration Tests
You ensure code quality using Static Code Analysis and Continuous Integration tools like SonarQube and Jenkins
You enjoy open feedback and learning opportunities from the Peer Review process on Bitbucket or GitHub

What can you expect at
IBM iX Croatia

Since 2015, we have been successfully accompanying organisations, companies and brands in Croatia in their digital transformation. We opened our first office in Varaždin, then we opened another one in Zagreb. In both locations, we have created Digital Excellence Hubs for our Croatian talents to provide the perfect setting for their creativity. Our hundred-plus employees work closely with our teams in the DACH region, designing digital experiences for clients across Europe.
