IBM iX Berlin is the proud winner of the Best of Swiss Web Award. In the marketing category, the team’s performance for the Migros Sustainability Hub was honoured with silver. The award was received by IBM iX during a festive award ceremony on the 7th of April in Zurich.
IBM iX strategically reorganised the sustainability communication for the Migros Group, Switzerland’s largest retail company, in 2021. A content hub on the topic of sustainability was created in close interaction between strategy, editorial and design. Migros customers are provided with helpful information and educated about what they can do themselves in terms of sustainability. A new design based on illustrative infographics and an individual image style set the scene for the content.
IBM iX has been the digital lead agency for Migros since 2014 and has implemented various platform projects for them.

The Best of Swiss Web Award honours the best Swiss web ecosystems every year. In the marketing category, projects are awarded that inspire customers through the innovative use of the internet or mobile apps, encourage them to change their actions, offer them a concrete benefit and thus create a significant communicative or image advantage for the company. The evaluation included aspects such as customer relationship management, networking with other sites and personalisation.
Migros Group is the largest retail company in Switzerland and also the largest private employer. The company is located in all cantons with a focus on conurbations and in neighbouring countries. Migros is owned by over two million cooperative members who are organised in ten regional cooperatives. These operate the core business of Migros Group, the retail trade. The group also includes the 20 companies of Migros’ own industry, various trading and travel companies as well as Migros Bank.
