Your way to IBM iX in 5 steps.

1: Get to know the recruiter

Sometimes there is an optional first call with a responsible person from recruiting to clarify questions about your application documents. This takes about 15 to 30 minutes.

2: Let’s talk about your motivation

In this interview, you get to know your potential manager and another person from the department. Prepare yourself well so that you can present yourself and, if necessary, your previous work with a portfolio or case presentation. This exchange usually lasts 30 to 60 minutes and takes place remotely or on-site.

3 (optional): Present your skills

In some cases, we may want to give you a hands-on task to better understand your skills and approach. This can be e. g. a coding assessment or a case to work on. This presentation will last about 60 to 90 minutes and takes place remotely or on-site.

4: How do our values sync?

In addition to your potential manager, you will meet other potential team colleagues. We want to know what values drive your professional attitude, how they align with our company, and how your personality even makes us grow. This interview may also include a task, depending on the role, which is why we schedule 60 to 90 minutes for this.

5: Welcome on board

It’s a match? Then we contact you to make you an offer verbally and send you a digital draft of the contract. If you are happy with it and there are no questions left, it’s time for the written employment contract. After that, you will receive it digitally or by mail. Once you have signed it, you’re part of the IBM iX team.
