At our IBM iX Women in Tech event, one thing was at the center: technology with heart as a force for positive change. At the IBM iX Studio in Berlin, thought leaders, changemakers, and creative minds came together to share new perspectives and work towards a fairer, more sustainable future. In workshops and talks, they discussed how empathy, innovation, and diversity shape digital transformation and how progress begins where technology meets humanity.

At our IBM iX Women in Tech event in the IBM Office Vienna, the focus was clear: not just to adapt to change, but to lead it. The evening brought together pioneers from companies like Österreichische Post AG and INAMERA GmbH to explore the space where real transformation happens, where the tension between automation and authenticity sparked the conversations we truly need.

At this inspiring event, women and allies came together to showcase how AI is transforming marketing — not by replacing human insight, but by enhancing it. Through thought-provoking discussions and real-world examples, we explored how technology and human creativity can work hand in hand to redefine the future of our industry.

Industry leaders, including Emilia Rey from Saint-Gobain, shared their paths to success, highlighting the power of data and AI in transforming business. Companies like ALDI, Henkel, and Vodafone showcased their innovations, while also addressing the hidden biases within AI. In partnership with IBM Consulting and IBM iX, this Women in Tech event offered valuable insights, discussions, and networking opportunities on career growth, AI transformation, and bias in technology.

Artificial intelligence is transforming the way we work and lead, but how can we ensure it’s inclusive and impactful? At our first event in our Health Lab in Berlin, we explored AI’s evolving role in business, discussed how to address biases in the health sector, and uncovered strategies for designing meaningful, AI-driven experiences in an engaging workshop.

Everyone is talking about AI. But if you look at gender parity, there are a few gaps. A lack of diversity has an impact on technology, innovation and society. But how do we get more women into the tech and AI world? How do we prepare employees in general and women in particular for the challenges? In Hamburg, our focus topic concentrated on “Learning and leading with AI” and how artificial intelligence is changing the future of leadership.

What does “Learning and Leadership” mean in the age of AI? This was the key question we discussed in Dusseldorf, joined by hands-on experiences with emerging technologies in the Metaverse and AI, speed networking, and a resilience workshop with actionable takeaways.
