Your tasks

• You orchestrate the design and implementation of end-to-end commerce experiences, driving the development of cutting-edge storefront solutions and conducting in-depth assessments and effort estimations to align business needs with robust, scalable architectures
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, UX/UI, and Engineering) to create comprehensive architectural designs and solutions for storefronts
• You participate in discovery workshops, project kick-offs, client meetings, and other architecture-related activities, providing expert guidance and support for successful solution delivery
• You develop and deliver presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the value of our solutions and showcase the technical feasibility of storefront designs
• You develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, staying informed about their evolving needs and identifying opportunities for further engagement and solution expansion
• You consult clients to create efficient, value-oriented employee processes to manage the composable storefront (e.g., Page Building across PXM, CMS, Commerce, and search capabilities)
• You contribute to the development of architectural best practices, whitepapers, case studies, and other thought leadership materials to support the sales and consulting teams
• You stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in storefront and eCommerce architecture, continuously refining your skills and knowledge

Your skills

• You are proficient in German and English and able to work in a dynamic, bilingual environment
• You have a solid foundation in eCommerce architecture, with experience across B2B, B2C, and other multi-party environments, and a proven track record of delivering innovative and scalable storefront solutions
• You have strong technical expertise in storefront technologies (preferably Commercetools, Adobe Commerce, Shopify, or similar platforms) and a solid understanding of headless commerce and API-based integrations
• You are proficient with Netlify, Vercel, and Hyperscaler platforms to manage scalable storefront solutions
• You have hands-on experience designing and implementing Commerce projects, focusing on storefront development using Node.js (Next.js / React), and leveraging MACH solutions (e.g., Commercetools) for scalable and flexible architectures
• You effectively use market-leading Gen AI tools to boost your and your team’s productivity, always looking for ways to create reusable assets and agents as the tech evolves
• You are a proactive, collaborative team player who takes ownership of projects and drives them to successful outcomes while working across different teams and departments
• You possess strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of how to architect solutions that balance both technical and business requirements
• You are detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in your work, ensuring solu-tions are both efficient and scalable
• You are open to travel as needed to meet clients and engage with project teams on-site
