Junior People Operations Manager (f/m/x)

Become part of our international People Team, which works together with colleagues from Germany, Austria and Croatia. As (Junior) People Operations Manager (f/m/x), you will support the People Services team along the entire employee life cycle and contribute to the continuous optimization of our processes. In addition, you will be actively involved in exciting projects, help shape modern HR work and promote an inclusive work culture with your strong service orientation.
If you like to ensure that administrative processes run smoothly – from the first signature to the last working day – and you work with accuracy, care and a keen sense for people, we look forward to getting to know you! We would like to fill this vacancy in Düsseldorf (hybrid work model) and full-time (40 hours/week) at the earliest possible date.

Your tasks

  • In your role, you act as the contact person for all administrative and HR-related issues throughout the entire employee life cycle
     
  • You create and process personnel-related documents such as employment contracts, supplementary agreements, references, parental leave and notices of termination carefully and in compliance with the law. You ensure the correct, structured and timely processing of all administrative procedures
     
  • You maintain and monitor all relevant personnel data in our systems with the utmost accuracy and ensure compliance with data protection and compliance requirements
     
  • You independently oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes and manage them in coordination with the relevant specialist departments and service departments (IT, Office Management, etc.)
     
  • You take over and support the planning of employee events such as health appointments for our employees in coordination with our company doctor or external service providers
     
  • You actively support the People Services team in the planning and implementation of strategic and operational projects, e.g. in the areas of process optimization, digitalization or cultural development, and contribute your own ideas and implementation skills
     
  • You will work closely with colleagues from the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development and Advisory & Processes departments, ensuring a smooth flow of information and consistent implementation along the entire employee life cycle – across teams and countries

Your skills

  • You have at least 2 years of experience in a comparable role (e.g. HR Operations, HR Generalist, People Services or similar)
     
  • Ideally, you have a degree or training with a focus on human resources
     
  • You have experience in working with HRIS systems (e.g. Rexx or similar) and are interested in further development through automation and AI tools
     
  • You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner – with a hands-on mentality and strong project management skills
     
  • You communicate clearly, empathetically and at eye level – in both German and English (at least B2/C1 level). Knowledge of Croatian is a plus, but not a must
     
  • You enjoy interdisciplinary and international collaboration and share our values of a positive and inclusive work culture
