People Operations Specialist (f/m/x)

As a People Operations Specialist in iX Studio Zagreb, you will take care of a wide range of HR administrative and operational topics while working closely with an international team, supporting people throughout their employee journey. If you can stay organised, accurate, and approachable while handling confidential matters with discretion, clear communication, and a dose of humour – then this might be the perfect role for you! 
 
We are looking for you to join us as soon as possible in full-time (40 hours per week) – in Zagreb and partially home-office (3 days/week). 

Your tasks

• You are the primary contact for employees and Line managers regarding HR administrative and operational matters 
• You collaborate closely with various corporate service departments, such as IT, Office Management, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Management  
• You accompany new employees in their first days and help them find their way through onboarding, and you support and coordinate the offboarding process for exiting employees 
• You are well versed in labor law, draw up employment contracts, annexes, confirmations, terminations, and other HR-related documents, and are responsible for maintaining master data 
• You look after our HR system (Rexx), enter and update employee data, and maintain other relevant company tools, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with GDPR 
• You track, maintain, and administer records of various absences (e.g. sick leave, special leave, unpaid leave, maternity, paternity), ensuring compliance with internal HR policies, and you submit necessary documentation to relevant institutions  
• You prepare and validate payroll input data in cooperation with the payroll provider, monitor deadlines, and support the ongoing optimization of payroll-related processes 

Your skills

• You have at least two years of experience in HR administration 
• You have very good user knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Excel. 
• You have a talent for communication, and you have very good written and spoken Croatian and English skills, German is an advantage 
• You have an independent, systematic, structured and very careful way of working 
• You are a discreet and trustworthy contact person for a wide range of personal issues and see yourself as a service provider in your own company for management, executives and employees
