Social Media Community Manager (f/m/x)

You love engaging directly with online communities, stay on top of things in dynamic situations, and want to actively contribute to strengthening brand reputation, engagement, and sustainable digital growth? Then join IBM iX as a Social Media Community Manager (f/m/x)!
We are looking for you to start as soon as possible in a full-time or part-time position (32–40 hours per week) at our Berlin location.

Your tasks

  • You monitor and analyse our online communities across various social media platforms, identifying trends, sentiment shifts and engagement opportunities
  • You actively engage with users, respond to enquiries professionally and strengthen our brand presence through personalised communication
  • You moderate content in line with project guidelines, handle inappropriate posts according to communication plans and ensure a respectful and secure community environment
  • You detect potential crisis signals early, escalate critical content according to internal processes and support crisis communication with real-time insights
  • You work with social media and community management tools as well as AI integrations
  • You collaborate closely with internal teams to resolve enquiries efficiently and ensure consistent communication (e.g. with the data team for reporting)

Your skills

  • You bring experience in community management, social media management or similar digital engagement roles
  • You demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal abilities
  • You remain calm, professional and solution-oriented even in sensitive or challenging situations
  • You have a strong understanding of social media platforms, online culture and community dynamics
  • You work in a detail-oriented manner, exercise sound judgment and have a high level of self-organisation
  • You complete your profile with business-fluent German and English skills, enabling you to communicate confidently with both community members and clients
