Account Executive (f/m/x) - Automotive

Your Responsibilities

  • You are part of a growing and committed new business team that inspires companies from the upper midmarket and enterprise environment in DACH for our digital solutions
  • You position yourself/us as a “trusted advisor” for our strategic focus customers (new and existing customers) and build up a customer relationship and network
  • You are responsible for analysing new market potential and creating trust and visibility for our services, offerings, etc. in line with our portfolio strategy and strategic customer focus
  • You carry out account-based selling by identifying customer and business-specific pain points and providing strategic, industry-specific advice and positioning best practices
  • Together with our in-house experts (strategists, architects, creatives) you create value propositions in the form of pitch presentations, offers, budget plans and project proposals
  • You work independently and are responsible for the entire sales and quotation process, right through to the conclusion of the contract
  • You liaise closely with our software partners (SAP CX, Adobe, Sitecore) on product development and sales in order to provide our potential customers with the best possible advice
  • You actively contribute to creating an environment of collaboration, willingness, creativity and continuous improvement

Your Skills

  • You have at least 4 years of experience in customer acquisition or consulting in the digital industry
  • You have initial insights into customer and industry challenges as well as processes and procedures in the mechanical engineering/manufacturing industry, which you can apply in your day-to-day activities in customer acquisition and consulting
  • You have industry-specific expertise in the challenges of digital transformation and have an affinity for digital products and services
  • You have very good oral and written communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, creative free spirit, independence, team spirit, high willingness to learn and proactive, solution-oriented thinking are part of our team DNA and are absolute must-haves
  • At best, you have already worked in a digital agency or consulting firm and have ideally positioned consulting and implementation services
  • At best, you have basic knowledge of content management or e-commerce systems such as Adobe, Sitecore, SAP CX or similar enterprise solutions
  • You are experienced in building relationships and dealing with decision-makers at enterprise customers (C-level, Head of, VP – level)
  • You feel at home in project sizes between €100,000 and €2 million, but also have the confidence to take on customer portfolios of €5 to 10 million in the future
  • You can keep calm even in stressful situations and use your experience to lead the project and pitch teams to success
