(Mid/Sen) Frontend Developer - Angular or React focused (f/m/x)

We are looking for a skilled Mid to Senior Frontend Developer, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks and Angular or React frames, to join our team to drive the development and implementation of innovative web applications. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams – including designers and backend engineers – to deliver a seamless user experience and guide the team in adopting best practices in modern frontend development. You can mentor junior developers, make key technical decisions, and play a crucial role in shaping both the product and the development process.

Ready to take on a new challenge and thrive in a collaborative, feedback-driven environment? We are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible in full-time (40 hours per week) – ideally in Varaždin/Zagreb/Osijek and partially home-office (3d per week).

Your tasks

• You develop innovative and complex Web Applications based on Angular or React frames
• You work within interdisciplinary, agile teams with experts for User Experience, User Interface, Backend, and Testing
• You develop state-of-the-art user interfaces with reference to browser support and performance
• You actively educate colleagues (especially junior ones) and teams on a technical and organisational level
• You know how to receive and give feedback and are willing to review code
• You delegate tasks, set and support team goals, respect deadlines, and also take on assignments
• You drive the adoption of best practices in Angular/React development, including component reusability, state management, and testing

Your skills

• You can demonstrate at least 3-5 years of professional experience in the usage of Angular or React
• You have strong HTML and CSS/SCSS knowledge (e.g., semantic, accessibility, cascade, modular styles, Atomic Design, BEM, Pattern Lab)
• You are proficient in TypeScript and RxJS
• You have experience in writing Unit tests
• You know that clean code is not just a phrase and follow best practices in software design
• You have good decision-making skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• You apply modern Angular features such as Signals for state management and reactive UI development, or in case of React – experience with modern patterns, such as hooks, context, and efficient state management (e.g. Redux)
• You can communicate and present clearly and openly on English (German is a plus), both with internal and external stakeholders
• You are autonomous, a team player, and eager to learn and further develop yourself
