Senior Account Executive – Industrial (f/m/x)

Are you passionate about digitalization, strategic sales approaches, and building long-term relationships? As (Senior) Account Executive – Industrial (f/m/x), you will have the opportunity to strengthen our market position in Austria and make a decisive contribution to the development of innovative solutions. We are looking for you to join our Vienna office (hybrid working model) on a full-time basis, starting immediately.
The Industrial sector brings together our expertise in manufacturing, automotive, chemicals, oil and gas, steel, and pulp and paper. We support industrial companies in their digital transformation – from optimising complex production processes to developing new, data-driven business models. With a deep understanding of technology, market mechanisms, and sustainability, we create solutions that increase efficiency, promote innovation, and actively shape industrial change.

Your tasks

  • You develop and operationalize the go-to-market strategy for Austria, including roadmap, KPIs, and prioritization
  • You actively identify market potentials, qualify needs through targeted outbound measures, and acquire new industrial clients/accounts
  • You independently manage sales processes through to contract signing and strategically support existing and key customers
  • You advise your clients and help them achieve success
  • Together with subject matter experts, you create tailored offers, develop compelling presentations, and facilitate workshops to initiate projects
  • You systematically expand your network and maintain partnerships (e.g., IBM network, iX agency group) to scale our market presence
  • With targeted positioning, marketing, and thought-leadership initiatives, you ensure visibility and lead generation
  • You measure success against defined KPIs and continuously derive optimizations for the sales roadmap from market insights
  • You coach your colleagues and further develop emerging talents

Your skills

  • You have several years of experience in sales/business development or as a go-to-market/sales lead with a clear industrial focus in Austria
  • A strong consulting mindset that enables you to showcase new paths to your clients is one of your defining qualities
  • You have a robust network of relevant decision-makers and actively maintain these contacts
  • Analytical strength and the ability to translate market insights into concrete growth strategies are among your core competencies
  • You confidently lead and coordinate cross-functional collaboration with product, delivery, and marketing teams
  • Negotiation skills, strong closing abilities, and persuasive presentation and communication skills are part of your skill set
  • You bring technical affinity and an understanding of industry use cases and digital platform architectures
  • You speak German at C2 level, have at least B2-level English skills, and are willing to travel within Austria
