Your tasks

• You orchestrate the design and implementation of end-to-end commerce experiences, driving the development of cutting-edge storefront solutions and conducting in-depth assessments and effort estimations to align business needs with robust, scalable architectures 
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sales, UX/UI, and Engineering) to create comprehensive architectural designs and solutions for storefronts 
• You participate in discovery workshops, project kick-offs, client meetings, and other architecture-related activities, providing expert guidance and support for successful solution delivery 
• You develop and deliver presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts that demonstrate the value of our solutions and showcase the technical feasibility of storefront designs 
• You develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, staying informed about their evolving needs and identifying opportunities for further engagement and solution expansion 
• You consult clients to create efficient, value-oriented employee processes to manage the composable storefront (e.g., Page Building across PXM, CMS, Commerce, and search capabilities) 
• You contribute to the development of architectural best practices, whitepapers, case studies, and other thought leadership materials to support the sales and consulting teams 
• You stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in storefront and eCommerce architecture, continuously refining your skills and knowledge 

Your skills

• You have solid experience in eCommerce architectures across B2B, B2C, and multi‑party environments, with a proven ability to deliver innovative and scalable storefront solutions 
• You bring deep technical expertise in modern storefront technologies such as Commercetools, Adobe Commerce, or Shopify, and you have a strong understanding of headless commerce and API‑based integrations 
• You are proficient in working with Netlify, Vercel, and hyperscaler platforms to operate and scale performant storefronts 
• You have hands-on experience designing and implementing commerce solutions using Node.js, Next.js, React, and MACH‑based architectures 
• You effectively leverage GenAI tools to increase productivity and continuously develop reusable assets as the technology evolves 
• You demonstrate strong problem‑solving abilities and understand how to design solutions that balance technical and business requirements effectively 
• You work proactively and collaboratively, taking ownership of projects while maintaining high quality standards and attention to detail 
• You are willing to travel as needed and are fluent in English (C1 level). Proficiency and ability to work in a dynamic, bilingual environment is a huge plus (German skills B2-level)
