Lead Digital Strategy Consultant - Banking & Finance (f/m/x)

As a Lead Digital Strategy Consultant (f/m/x), you will play a key role in the strategic consulting of banks and financial service providers. You will be responsible for developing and managing complex digital and transformation initiatives, acting as a sparring partner for C-level decision-makers, and actively shaping the strategic positioning of our clients in an increasingly regulated and technology-driven environment. 
You are proficient in areas such as bank-specific digital ecosystems and AI-driven customer experience – and translate market requirements into actionable strategies with measurable business impact. 
 
Sounds like you? Then we are looking for you as soon as possible in a full-time position (40 hours per week) at one of our locations in Germany or fully remote.

Your tasks

• Developing customer-centric digital and omnichannel strategies across the entire banking journey (retail, corporate, private banking)
• Identifying banking pain points, moments of truth, and growth drivers using qualitative and quantitative methods (e.g., customer research, journey mapping, service blueprints)
• Conceptualizing and supporting transformation initiatives (e.g., digital sales models, self-service, personalization, mobile and online banking)
• Designing use cases for AI agents in banking by identifying, prioritizing, and developing agentic AI use cases (e.g., personalized financial advice, next-best-action strategies, intelligent service agents, automated decision-making processes)
• Leading and moderating C-level strategy, innovation, and decision-making workshops with internal and external stakeholders
• Developing CX metrics, target visions, and business cases to measure customer satisfaction, loyalty, and economic impact
• Having an active role in business development by being responsible for developing content concepts for our services
• Mentoring consultants and actively developing our consulting portfolio in the field of AI-driven banking 

Your skills

• You have a degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Digital Business, or a comparable field
• You have several years of consulting experience in management or strategy consulting with a clear focus on banks and financial service providers
• You have a strong understanding of digital banking ecosystems, regulatory frameworks, and the interrelationships between business, IT, and compliance
• You have experience with CX frameworks and design thinking 
  AI expertise (strategic and/or practical) is a clear advantage – especially in the context of efficiency, automation, or customer experience
• You communicate confidently at the C-level, work in a structured and decision-oriented manner, and impress with strategic clarity and a strong implementation approach
• You are entrepreneurial, take responsibility, and enjoy the sustainable development of topics, teams, and clients
