Would you like to play an active role in shaping the digital HR transformation and do you have in-depth expertise in SAP SuccessFactors? Then join our IBM iX team! We are ideally looking for you to start as soon as possible on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) at our locations in Berlin or Düsseldorf – alternatively, you can work remotely from anywhere in Germany!

Our “Blue Experts” team combines consulting, strategy, and creative communication solutions. Together, we shape cross-industry transformations – for example, guide our clients through complex payroll transformation projects, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and support them in successfully adopting future‑ready cloud architectures. 

Your tasks

• You design and configure SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and translate business and legal requirements into compliant payroll processes
• You lead discovery workshops, define functional designs, and ensure alignment with SAP best practices and country‑specific regulations
• You manage end‑to‑end payroll implementations including configuration, testing, parallel runs, training, deployment, and go‑live support
• You act as the functional lead for payroll workstreams and guide internal teams as well as implementation partners
• You define and oversee integrations between ECP, Employee Central, Time & Attendance, Finance/ERP, and external payroll providers
• You ensure data accuracy and establish controls, validations, and audit mechanisms to reduce payroll risks
• You advise clients on payroll transformation, process optimization, compliance topics, and solution options
• You monitor release updates, recommend enhancements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring junior consultants 

Your skills

• You have at least eight years of professional payroll experience and at least five years working with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll; experience with SAP HCM, H4S4 Payroll, or Time Management is a plus
• You bring a proven track record in multi-country payroll implementations and have deep knowledge of payroll and time processes, compliance requirements, and statutory reporting
• You are experienced in integrating payroll with time management, HR core systems, finance applications, and external providers
• You have successfully delivered large-scale, cross-country transformation projects and can work confidently across business and technical teams
• You demonstrate strong workshop facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, paired with analytical strength and problem‑solving abilities
• You speak German and English fluently (at least C1)
• You ideally bring strong negotiation skills, mental agility, and the ability to manage complex solution landscapes
• Your willingness to occasionally work on-site with clients is an advantage
