Commerce Presales Consultant (f/m/x)

As a Commerce Presales Consultant, you’ll be at the heart of our customer-centered strategy – delivering inspiring presentations and demos, developing compelling propositions and sales strategies as well as building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders while keeping your finger on the pulse of industry trends and technologies to guide our customers on their journey to digital excellence in e-commerce.
Sounds like you? Then we are looking for you as soon as possible in a full-time position (38,5 hours per week) in Berlin, Düsseldorf, Vienna or Wels. 

Your Tasks

  • You lead presales activities from the initial conversation with potential clients through to the contract signing, ensuring a seamless and professional process
  • You collaborate with internal stakeholders (including Sales, Consulting and Engineering) to create comprehensive and compelling proposals and sales strategies
  • You conduct thorough needs assessments and discovery sessions with clients to understand their business requirements and challenges
  • You create and deliver engaging presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts that address client needs and demonstrate our value proposition
  • You develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders, staying informed about their needs and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
  • You contribute to the development of presales materials, such as case studies, whitepapers, and data sheets, to support sales efforts and drive business growth
  • You participate in sales kick-offs, customer meetings, and other sales-related activities to provide expert guidance and support to the sales team
  • You stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, continuously refining your skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality results and stay ahead of the curve

Your Skills

  • You already have several years of work experience in the above mentioned field
  • You are proficient in English and German, with the ability to work in a bilingual environment
  • You have a strong technical understanding of Commerce solutions (preferably in one of the following: SAP CX, Commercetools, Adobe Commerce, or Salesforce Commerce; everything else is a plus)
  • You are a proactive team player focused on collaborative impact and results and you take the lead to drive initiatives to successful outcomes
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex client needs and develop effective solutions
  • You are a detail-oriented individual, with the ability to maintain high-quality standards in your work and meet deadlines
  • You are willing to travel approximately 50% of the time, with the ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities
