People Operations Manager (f/m/x)

We are looking for a dedicated People Operations Manager (m/f/x) who will actively support our organization by keeping HR processes running smoothly and optimizing them, while promoting an inclusive work culture in their role. We would like to fill this vacancy in Berlin (hybrid work model) on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) as soon as possible.

Your tasks

• As People Operations Manager (m/f/x), you will be the central point of contact for all administrative, personnel-related, and labor law issues
• You are responsible for preparatory payroll accounting, which includes maintaining payroll-related data in all HR systems, creating and checking payroll lists, forwarding them, monitoring payroll and reporting deadlines, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements
• As part of your responsibilities in preparatory payroll accounting, you also act as the interface to external payroll accounting
• You will be responsible for maintaining and checking documents relating to our employment relationships (e.g., employment contracts, references, supplementary agreements, terminations, parental leave, etc.) in our Rexx HRIS, as well as implementing data protection and compliance requirements
• You will support and manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes in coordination with the relevant departments and service departments (IT, office management, etc.)  
• You will manage and further develop digital HR workflows, such as digital personnel files and self-service portals, in coordination with colleagues from the three country markets of Germany, Austria, and Croatia
• You will work closely with experts from the areas of talent acquisition and learning & development across countries, giving you a holistic view of modern human resources management

Your skills

• You have at least 2 years of experience in an HR operations or HR generalist role, ideally with a focus on preparatory payroll accounting
• You have a degree or vocational training with a focus on human resources
• You are well versed in HR systems such as Rexx or comparable systems and are enthusiastic about process automation (use of AI possibilities)
• You are characterized by clear, empathetic communication at all levels
• You have a strong independent, proactive approach to work, a hands-on mentality, and project management skills
• You share our passion for a positive, inclusive agency culture and are open to cross-functional collaboration
• You have a very good or fluent command of written and spoken English and German (B2 or C2 level) – a little knowledge of Croatian would be nice to have
