In the Health & Insurance Cluster, we work in interdisciplinary teams on projects in the fields of healthcare & life sciences, pharmaceuticals and insurance. Our focus is on statutory (GKV) and private health insurance (PKV) as well as customers in the traditional insurance sector. We set new standards for digitalization in the respective industry and support our clients in transforming their services, processes and sales channels and adapting them to the growing requirements of users.

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for the design and further development of our iOS app architecture using modern patterns such as Clean Architecture, MVVM or VIPER
• By introducing and evaluating new technologies, frameworks and tools, you will continuously optimise performance, maintainability and user experience
• You will define coding standards and development processes, such as CI/CD pipelines, unit tests and code linting, and implement them consistently
• Together with product management, UX/UI designers and backend developers, you will clarify technical feasibility and implementation details at an early stage
• You will skilfully integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, push notifications, analytics frameworks and third-party libraries into the existing app
• Using crash reporting tools such as Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry, you will ensure that errors are proactively detected and corrected
• As a mentor, you will support junior developers in their professional and personal development 

Your skills

• You have several years of experience in native iOS development with Swift (version 5.0 or higher); knowledge of Objective-C is an advantage
• You have a good understanding of software architecture, clean code and unit testing
• Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bitrise, Fastlane) sets you apart
• You are confident in using Apple’s own frameworks such as SwiftUI, Combine and async/await
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in supporting wearables (e.g. Thryve SDK), device hardening (e.g. with Kobil SSMS) and the integration of content management systems (e.g. Strapi)
• With your strong communication skills, you explain technical concepts in a way that is understandable for various target groups
• You act on your own initiative and identify risks early on in order to develop suitable solution strategies
• A structured approach to work, cooperative teamwork skills and a passion for knowledge sharing characterise your working style
• Fluent German (C1 level) and very good English (B2 level) round off your profile
