(Junior) UI & Visual Designer (f/m/x)

As a UI Designer, you will help our clients across industries in their digital business transformation by creating outstanding digital products and experiences, driven by AI. You will translate strategy into design visions and digital interfaces to build applications that are intuitive, scalable and future-proof. Due to the specifics of our project landscape, please be noted that for this position we can only consider candidates that are both English and German proficient (C1).

We are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible in full-time, ideally in Berlin, Düsseldorf and partially home-office (up to 3 days per week).

Your tasks

• You design visually compelling, accessible and effective digital interfaces across platforms (web, mobile, wearables, …) and touchpoints, adding substantial value to our clients’ business
• You translate brand identity into design visions, prototypes, guidelines, products and scalable design systems
• You apply state-of-the-art design patterns and principles, staying up to date with latest trends and emerging technologies
• You design for AI and explore new design approaches in the context of AI, with the aim to build trustworthy, intuitive AI-driven products and experiences
• You define, develop and maintain design systems (incl. UI kits, component libraries, style guides)
• You prototype concepts, from static layouts to interactive flows and lo-fi or hi-fi prototypes, collaborating closely with frontend developers to ensure feasibility
• You communicate and present your design concepts to clients, stakeholders and interdisciplinary teams

Your skills

• You bring a strong portfolio showcasing digital product and have at least a year (Junior), or at least two years (Mid-level) of relevant professional experience
• You are highly proficient in Figma and other design and prototyping tools
• You use AI in your work and know about emerging AI-augmented design workflows that accelerate ideation and prototyping
• You bring a very good understanding of front-end technologies (web, hybrid, mobile) and technical feasibility; ideally, you also have basic coding knowledge
  Ideally, you bring additional skills like motion design, illustration or 3D/XR design for enriched digital brand experiences
• You have excellent communication (English – C1 and German – C1) and presentation skills
• You bring the ability to think across disciplines; any deeper knowledge in Strategy, UX/Service Design or User Research or adjacent skills are beneficial
