Software Quality Engineer (f/m/x)

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Engineer and help shape the quality of tomorrow’s digital solutions. As a key member of an agile team, you’ll play a hands-on role in ensuring high software quality through collaborative testing, automation, and exploratory approaches. You bring a proactive mindset, a passion for quality, and a solid technical background—whether you’re early in your QA journey or already bring years of experience in test automation and agile environments.

We are looking for you to join our team as soon as possible in full-time (40 hours per week) – ideally on site in Varaždin/Zagreb/Osijek with a possibility to partially work from home-office (3 days per week).

Your tasks

• You work as a full agile team member with primary responsibility for testing
• You proactively collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality software delivery
• You help establish and foster a QA mindset within the agile team
• You drive and execute testing activities as outlined in the project’s quality approach
• You apply exploratory testing techniques beyond just the acceptance criteria
• You plan, develop, and maintain automated tests (e.g., UI, performance tests)
• You actively support the implementation and improvement of test automation capabilities
• You drive bug resolution and prevention, ensuring sustainable quality

Your skills

• You demonstrate strong autonomy, team spirit, and a proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve
• You have solid experience in Web Application Testing and Quality Assurance, maintaining high standards and a strong passion for software quality
• You possess basic programming knowledge and experience with test automation practices.
• You have proficiency in UI test automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium, or strong experience in end-to-end (E2E) test management
• You are familiar with Scrum/Agile workflows and understand how testing and QA contribute to effective agile development processes
• You have an interest in AI-supported QA and testing approaches, ideally with some hands-on experience
• You have excellent English language skills, while knowledge of German (at least B1) is considered a plus
