Locations: Berlin or Düsseldorf – You’ll work at one of these locations under a hybrid work model (40% on-site, 60% working from home)
Working model: full-time, 40h

Digital transformation often starts with understanding existing processes rather than implementing technology. As a Digital Consultant Public Sector, you analyse complex workflows, develop better digital solutions together with clients and create the foundation for sustainable change.

Your contribution: You connect business needs, organisational realities, technology and user perspectives, bringing transparency to complex process landscapes and enabling meaningful digital transformation.

Your tasks

• Analyse existing processes through interviews, document reviews, observations and workshops, identifying opportunities for optimisation and digital transformation
• Model current-state processes and design user-centred future-state processes that improve efficiency and user experience
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, IT teams, leadership and other key stakeholders, translating diverse perspectives into clear requirements and priorities
• Assess opportunities for digitalisation and automation using workflow, low-code, RPA, data and AI solutions while considering technical, organisational and regulatory requirements
• Support clients from initial discovery and process selection through redesign and implementation, taking ownership of work packages or workstreams according to experience level
• Contribute to proposals, pitches and the continuous development of our consulting offerings in close collaboration with colleagues from strategy, experience design and technology

What you bring

• A completed degree in Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
• Initial practical experience in process optimisation, process digitalisation or organisational transformation; experience with AI-enabled solutions is an advantage
• Understanding of process analysis and modelling methods combined with a strong interest in digitalisation and automation
• Confident use of Microsoft Office; experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira or Mural, as well as certifications such as BPMN 2.0, ITIL, COBIT or Design Thinking, are a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, client focus and communication skills combined with a structured and solution-oriented mindset
• Fluent German and English language skills and the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new topics and business environments
