We are looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Senior Sales Manager / Business Development (f/m/x) to strengthen our Public Team in the area of Defense & Intelligence (internal and external security).

For more than 25 years, we have been accompanying the digitalisation of the public sector in Germany and developing modern, digital solutions with exceptional user experiences. Your tasks

You will independently develop strategic approaches to expand our business in the area of Defense & Intelligence (internal and external security)
You are responsible for developing individual strategies to expand our network and contribute to strengthening existing partnerships in the area of Defense & Intelligence (internal and external security)
You identify needs and analyze offers for our existing and new customers from the public sector
You act as a contact person for our interdisciplinary teams as well as for our current and future partners
You are a visible expert in the market environment and proactively position IBM iX topics through appearances at trade fairs and/or events (e.g. AFCEA)
You actively follow new trends in the public sector, especially the security authorities, and keep yourself up to date
You accompany the entire tendering process and deal with corresponding framework contracts

Your skills

You have sound professional experience in a position appropriate to the role, e.g. in account management, business development, sales management, consulting
You are familiar with the structures and characteristics of the police and justice sector (proven through projects or sales experience)
At best, you have already been able to build up a network of contacts in the police and justice sector through your work
You have a high affinity and passion for creation and/or technologies and digital trends
Your solution-oriented way of working and your ambition to get things done ideally round off your profile
You enjoy traveling for or with your customers and are willing to travel (especially Berlin, Bonn, Munich)
You are fluent in German and have a good command of English
