Strategic Sales Consultant (f/m/x)

Please note that due to the project demands, for this position we can only consider candidates that are German (and English) fluent.

Help shape the future of IT transformation with us! As a Strategic Sales Consultant (f/m/x), you will combine sales expertise, a consultative approach and technical solution design in a cross-functional role. Together with our partners and sales executives, you will develop customized sales strategies, design compelling proposals and act as the central link to solution design – with the aim of creating a clearly differentiated and sustainable value proposition for our customers. 
 
You will advise our clients on topics such as application operations, AI, IT strategy and innovation, and, as part of your pre-sales activities, support challenging, complex deals from concept to closure. In doing so, you will gain comprehensive insights into the entire value chain, from proposal architecture and pricing through contract negotiations to the structured handover to the delivery organisation. 
 
As an integral part of the deal team, consisting of a Solution Manager, Client Partner, Bid Manager and Deal Maker, you will be responsible, together with the Deal Maker, for managing and coordinating the proposal process.  
 
Does this sound like you? Then we are looking for you as soon as possible in a full-time position (40 hours per week). The role is based in the Frankfurt area and is primarily remote. During the tender and RFP phases, project-related meetings and workshops with the deal teams will take place on-site in various cities across the DACH region.

Your tasks

Managing and overseeing the RFP process, including:  

  • Developing and formulating a comprehensive deal strategy  
  • Designing a compelling value proposition that delivers lasting value for our clients  
  • Creating attractive,customized proposals  
  • Managing and taking responsibility for the entire RFP process  
  • Actively contributing to and coordinating the preparation of proposals, as well as conducting workshops in direct contact with clients  
  • Working closely with interdisciplinary teams and internal experts  
  • Establishing, maintaining and developing long-term client relationships
  • Actively participating in transformation projects and AI initiatives  

Your skills

  • At least three years’ professional experience in the fields of IT transformation, sales or consulting  
  • A high level of professionalism in creating and delivering management-ready presentations  
  • A strong technological focus in at least one of the following areas: Application Management & Development, SAP-Transformation or Automation  
  • An independent, structured approach to work, with a strong sense of responsibility for the results achieved
  • A sound understanding of current IT trends and strategies, as well as their relevance to our clients
  • Ideally, a specialist focus in one or more sectors such as automotive, banking or the public sector
  • Experience in leading or managing strategic IT projects is desirable, e.g. as a project manager, service manager or PMO  
  • Very strong analytical skills and clear, persuasive communication skills 
    Initial experience in collaborating with and managing cross-functional teams or working within a global corporation  
  • A passion for innovative solutions, strategic thinking and future-oriented technologies 
    Fluency in German and English (at least C1) in both spoken and written communication
  • Proficiency in modern collaboration and Office tools such as OneDrive, Word, Excel, Slack, Monday or Mural
