Senior Experience Designer (UX/UI) (f/m/x)

You will translate strategy into design visions and digital interfaces to build applications that are intuitive, scalable and future-proof. We are looking for an Experience Designer based in Croatia to join our team full time in Varaždin, Zagreb, or Osijek. This role combines office presence with the flexibility to work remotely up to three days per week.

Your tasks

• You design efficient, effective and engaging user experiences and digital products as well as visually compelling, accessible interfaces across platforms (web, mobile, emerging interfaces), shaping end‑to‑end journeys that create measurable value for users and clients, across industries.
• You translate customer needs, business objectives and brand strategy into clear experience strategies and concepts, including personas, user journeys and flows, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes, guidelines and scalable design systems
• You plan and conduct user research (e.g. interviews, usability testing, focus groups, surveys) and synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable design directions
• You apply proven design principles and contemporary patterns while continuously evaluating emerging technologies and trends for their relevance in real‑world client contexts
• You work with design systems, component libraries and front‑end constraints to ensure consistency, scalability and feasibility across products and services
• You design experiences for AI‑enabled products and services, exploring new interaction models and focusing on trust, clarity and usability in AI‑driven experiences
• You collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams (strategy, design, technology), apply your leadership skills to ensure design quality from early concept to implementation, while advising clients on experience, UX/UI and design best practices

Your skills

• You bring a strong portfolio demonstrating senior‑level experience in digital product and experience design, with a track record in design consulting and high-quality output.
• You have at least 3+ years of relevant professional experience in an agency, consulting or complex project environment
• You are highly proficient in Figma and familiar with collaborative design and delivery tools
• You actively explore and use AI‑supported workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping and design delivery
• You have a solid understanding of front‑end technologies (web, mobile, hybrid) and experience platforms. Basic coding knowledge is a plus to collaborate effectively with developers
• Additional skills such as motion design, illustration, 3D/XR and/or a basic understanding of product and project management are a plus
• You communicate clearly and confidently (English C1 required; German B2+ is a strong plus), present design decisions convincingly to clients and teams, and work autonomously while valuing feedback
• You think across disciplines; deeper experience in areas such as Experience Strategy, UX/Service Design or User Research is highly appreciated
